Video Premiere: Beyonce 'Party'

Staying true to the rumor that a video treatment will coordinate with every track from her critically acclaimed 4th album...Bey has released her sixth video for the old skool hip-hop track 'Party' with a new guest star replacing Andre 3ooo contribution on the original.
J.Cole (who's on her hubbies payroll) takes the place of Andre with a brief yet dope feature which is now being helmed as the remix version. J.Cole stated earlier this week that he recorded two different verses (one long, the other short) for Bey before the album was released. Instead,Bey opted for Andre's verse and decided to use Coles version on the remix.How sweet. Get yo invite to the 'Party' below...

The video explored and exceeded my expectations .Backyard banter,red cups,Solo DJ'n,kiddie pools,old skool dance steps,african american trailer park,grass,ike & tinas king size headboard,matty weaves,bubbles,thrift store clothes gave me complete oxygen(LIFE). The zany atmosphere and relunctant cameos was THE overall splendeforous camaraderie that deems magical.....My only disappointment is the blatant lack of choreography. C'mon Bey....party....jammin...you,solange & kellz..i expected a subdued mellow version of a 'Get Me Bodied' revamp. But I guess this will do...

Premiere:Kelly Rowland 'Down For Whatever'

Earlier today Kelly released the brilliant visuals of her European single 'Down For Whatever'.Looks as though the video for it has been leaked.Peep the high octane dance vid below.Warning:the relentless usage of ultraULTRA-violet strobe lights may cause a seizure.



My Thoughts:The concept was cute,exuberant but simple. I dug the cropped bob (reminded me of Kellz 'Survivor' days). The use of blacklighting was a bit dated though. Towards the end it gave me a glow in the dark sex kitten montage reminiscent of Nicki's 'Superbass' video. Nevertheless, this song commands attentive movement and a communal tip to the dancefloor.Its Most def a bamboo banga!

Kelly's label teased us with stills from the ultraviolet strobe light infused set of her European dance single 'Down For Whatever'. The video treatement is helmed by the equivalency of her ' Motivation' & 'Lay It On Me' director,Sarah Chatfield. The video is said to be released within the coming days or the following week. The video is a bit underwhelming due to all the,what seem to be,very bomb teasers.However,the final edit doesn't fluff my pillows as much.Don't get me wrong,the video is hot ,but not as hot as I thought.
