The Met Gala 2oll BKA Costume Institute Gala steamed with daring garbs and garments as the yesterday,today and tomorrows celebs tipped out on fashions biggest night.The theme -Alexander McQueen's Savage Garden. The dress code-Absolute. Bring it or be beheaded! Best Dressed was an understatement for some.These figures definitely know how to shit on the red carpet. The night was paramount for fundamental fashion,gregarious glamor and lavish levitation of gowns and costumes like no other.

Beyonce was the true champion.Pushing through in Pucci.The guarded neck and Victorian inspired fitted gold and black gown captured every scintillating curve.Who run this?

Diana Krueger was Old Hollywood sexy in this two toned petal beaded and black silk frock with that mile high split revealing those beautiful stems.
Ciara tipped thru in this soft gown that was sorta different for her taste.We're used to seeing the uber sexy Cici on the carpet but she scaled back and sampled a bit of innocent softness that works.
My Sol-Angel started from the ground up with her hair and grew it out in a matter of months and gave us confirmation of her geuine lenght.Pressed and primmed,Ms.Knowles channeled a mod mode and appeared in a wildly geometric print and black sequined blend that whispers volumes.I hoped for more though.
Salma Hayek looked tremendous.This gown was liquid perfection.
Grandma Mdolla scaled back as well from her previous Gala red carpet entree from a few years back.This slate blue silk gown saturated with gold & silver templates are reason for acclaim.
JHud played with greys and fluffy whites in this sleeveless gown in which she executed very well. She was absolutely glowing.
This was a disappointment Leighton.I guess you really do live in Serena's shadow because she looked amazing.

Newcomer's Lala & Carmelo was modestly primped.

My Fenty disappointed me.She almost made this worst dressed list with this lace Mortician's wife gown.I'm aware that her love for the color black never defuses but I wished she would've tapped into her colorful coutour gown wearing that she was giving for a minute like she gave at the Grammy's with the Gaultier gowns.However she chose this drab piece.Let her in anyways,she's still my sister.
Eva Mendes blazed in this electric blue one shouldered pleated gown.She gave me the immediate NYC night skyline with that gold metal belt.
Sarah JP doesnt have to do much.She is a fashion culture pioneer.She shoveled on thru with this champagne svelte fitting beaded galore of a garment with the solace of promise.So correct.
Worst Dressed
John was at the wrong place at the wrong time with this one.His tux was ok but seeing that he came with the gothic version of Sesame's Street Big Brown thrown into this category by association.Sorry.
Love Stella McCartney,but I no longer understand nor do I care.This dress looks like blackened crab leg.
When bad clothes happen to good people.This Goldmember 2oll pantsuit should not even had a glimpse of the Met Gala red carpet.This look was better suited for a VMA's red carpet.
This dress was just too busy for Lucy Liu's petite Korean-American frame.The concoction of overcompensated feathers ad length of the dress wasn't a good call.
I know the suit & tie is Janelle Monae's aesthetic and I applaud her for her sheer originality.However,this is the MET gala and the only thing edgy about her look is the fact that she wore heels instead of her normal black eyed pea Oxfords.
Rosario gave me Grandma Bedazzle in this Plain Jane frock.I was not appeased-at all!
The hat and overall attitude Serena gave with this illusion was half baked.It looked like a silly stringed costume disaster.Sweet 16 much?
