I love this whole sci-fi integrating with modern day movie genre.Pulling from aspects to similar tastes as Total Recall and Inception, this inept thriller is interestingly plotted and executed. When I saw the previews for this movie I was immediately drawn in by its synopsis. After viewing the actual film my curiosity was intricately met.
Woven into a romantic contrast mixed with sci-fi undertones and indulged in dramatic/thriller amusement,The Adjustment Bureau tickles the unknown fancy of pre-determined fate and the obstacles we sometimes take navigating through life.Matt Damon plays an electoral candidate for NY Senate who on the day of an important speech bumps into Emily Blunt and becomes randomly smitten .From there, his life becomes one big whirlwind of strange men in fedoras with funky tablets running through interchangeable doorways. It's quite the impeccable imaginative story that is missing in today's cinema.Well worth the watch. B-
