Rihanna's daring gown caused quite a stir on the red carpet at last nights Grammy's.The see through number was held together by transparent gauze and fluffy organza.As she shifted ,the gown complimented each toned curve of her heavenly physique .The contrast from the light hue in her eyes to the vibrant fiery color of her layered bob was PERFECTION.It was breathtaking .The dress was designed by Jean Paul Gaultier and was taken right off the runway via NY's Fashion week said the Barbadian bombshell.She's a fan of his red carpet looks and the work of art accentuated her best.None other.What do you think??

The Best Performances according to VN: 2o11 Grammy's>>>1-6

Rihanna singing Love The Way You Lie:Part II was a pleasant surprise.Fighting her early discovered illness of Bronchitis ,she delivered an exceptional performance and that gown was vomit-worthy SICCKKKK!! Love.

Justin,Jaden & Usher's performance was high octane-flashy pubescent-infused explosive too!

Auntie Gaga's anticipated performance of Born This Way wasn't as thrilling as I dreamt it to be but it was entertaining and mildly symbolic nevertheless.To her ominous arrival in a egg (in reference to being BORN),to the molden translucent nude colored get ups and Madonna-esque ponytail.She was a circus of confusion and intrepid inhumane goodness.Lori Anne did some interesting b-girl referencing choreo for the megastar.You must love Gaga.She's undeniable.

Another vibrant and fun performance was that of Cee-Lo Green featuring Gwyneth Paltrow.I really liked this performance because it reminded me of an old Elton John concert with the big peacock get up and moon glasses.Gwyneth was very charismatic and has an highly exceptional live performance voice.

The chemistry embedded likes of Rihanna & Drake kept me glued to Rihanna's performance of thier dual hit single Whats My Name.Rihanna served up the sensuality of Beyonce a la De Ja Vu via BET Awards 2oo6  as she & Drake grinded on stage and dutty whined to the Barbadian beat. However,the latter of the performance was a copy & paste from her previous performances of the song with the exception of a few revamped choreo it was pretty much a mediocre performance.The beginning sequence with her & Drake is what saved it.

The captivating 5.Martina McBride,Florence,Yolanda Adams,Christina Aguilera & Jeniffer Hudson kicked off the Grammys with a sensational tribute to Aretha Franklin.Boastfully belting out hits like No Other Way & RESPECT.They totally showed up and showed out.Florence from FLorence and the Machine surprised me with her melodic tenor voice.Christina belted out notes like shes acclaimed for (trying to compensate for the Super Bowl tragedy).Jennifer,well you already know what J.Hud gives.Yolanda hit a lengthy concluding note making her counterparts look over at her in acclaim.Martina was exceptional as well with her country twang infused notes.Good job estrogen,good job!

The cool kids Janelle,B.O.B & Bruno Mars were a thrill to watch.They seriously need to contemplate on forming a band.Its essential.Their musical styles are so delectably different and affluent in talent.B.O.B started the three-way stage performance with a slowed down version of him & Bruno's anthem Nothing on You followed by a 5o's modernized rendition of Mar's hit Grenade & Just The Way You Are.It was so adorable as well as him.Love him,I can just pinch his cheeks (both of them :).Monae (so proud of her btw) concluded the jam session with her nurturing track,Cold War.She was a little firecracker on stage like always.Can I hang with yall??

The Grammy's 2o11: BEST dressed/ (+op +en)

Not in order of superiority.Just an all out fashion frenzy.The cultivated few best dressed in tonight's ceremony.

 

The glitz + the shimmer were all the amusement in tonight's fashion fair and J.Lo wholeheartedly dove into the trend.From the disco ball sharded sheath min to the platform studded CL's.She showed up & showed out.

The newly slender J.Hud was a delighful treat in this navy flowy gown with exposed leg and silver accents braided into the bodice.The hair,jewelry and shoe choice was on point.

 Raheem Devaughn showed up in an all white tux trimmed in black.The ominous masculine touch to a star studded evening.The wine colored pocket scarf was a superb touch as well.Clean.Crisp & delectable.

 Another slimmed down star is Kelly Osbourne who supported the event wearing a one-shouldered lavender ruffled beauty that accentuated her revamped figure.Good work brat.

 One of my favorites was the immaculate Rihanna in this floor-length Romanticized gown with spiraled ruffles cascading to the floor.It was THE perfect contrast to the fire engine red effortless bob that she donned.Gotta love this accented gorgeousness!

 ATL stand up! Miss Brow,Monica that is,arrived in this onyx evening gown.It was dark and sensual.I wish it was maybe a lighter color to play along with her light complexion but this was efficient nevertheless.The wavered capped shoulders,huge wedding ring and diamond toothed smile was a mile of yumminess too delightful to witness.

 

The Mother of an attendee on the worst dressed list is Willows hot mama,Jada Pinkett Smith whom was ravishingly scintillating in another shimmering number.The silver beaded cascading curtain strings emblazoned on the bodice was a peak for me.The shoes on her foot are wonders.I only wish that my momma was this instyle.

Ms.Keri Baby shined with this Aqua water-Mediterranean inspired mini dress.The colors really accentuated her paper bag skin tone and the hair + make up was impeccable.The shoes,I wish was a little bit better and flashier.More dazzle,the better.

 Naya Rivera was already winning in the face,but this silver/grayish satin origami constructed dress was simply refreshing.It was regal and youthful all on the same accord.I digs her immunity.Come through empowering estrogen!

Bruno was just timeless in this simple distinguished silk suit with the bouffant teased hair,his alien-like features and the dark shades just infused me with infatuation.His performance was great as well.Kudos my multi-racial sensation.

 I love the incandescently talented Willow.However,this look gave me Austin Powers Goldmember.

 Another crush of mines,Adam..I adore you,but black Aladdin pant with combat boots had me at a pause.

David Guetta,your niche is European dance music..not European homme.This grunge gone wrong manifestation shook me to an unlikeable core.

Remy Ma was granted early probation for the Grammys. -Pause-

That was my humor,no..but Gramma Funk (whomever that is) decided to wear a David's Bridal vintage piece to the Grammy's.Ma'am ,your invite has been revoked!

I dont know and I dont care was this guys aesthetic. He looks like Antoine Dodson's masculine alter ego,Antonio Dodson. #FAIL

The ONLY exception to this rule is to not style yourself for an event as esteemed as the Grammy's.Hailey is the one bad flamingo bumble bee out the bunch.What was she thinking.The other members of the group to her left & right are yummy though.

Toni,I know times are hard for you but dont let it be known.You come to the ceremony with SEPERATES...wtf??

Mr.Martin,I adore your tenacity and your allegiance in coming out the closet.However,there are some items that you should have left in there.Those aluminum hot pants for one can most definitely be discarded immediately!

The Annual Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala is always sure to amaze and prompt this years Grammy players into gear.The masses expanded from this years 2 time nominee Monica,Brandy,Whitney,J.Hud & Ciara.The function was a definite must.Jeniffer Hudson & Whitney Houston serenaded that audience as the evening was saturated with a collection of talent and notoriety.I love this season.53rd Grammy Awards tonight!!
