Beyonce's production collaborations on her upcoming 4th album are reportedly very diverse & nonequivalent to her prior musical feats. Two producers that raised an intriguing eyebrow is the heavy electro beats of (Major Lazer) Diplo & Switch. They garnered mega tracks for indie favs such as M.I.A & Santigold alike.Their blazing track 'Pon De Floor' is rumored to be sampled by the Queen herself on her upcoming single which is rumored to be titled "Girl",a track about female's owning the world .The song is said to be as risky & eclectic as her 2oo6 anthem Ring The Alarm.Bey's vocals are supposedly tested over a very obscure bassline with ethnic monotones and obese bass as she belts out haunting riffs and raps on certain verses.Very dark, very eerie, very edgy..very risque...very non-Beyonce.This comes as an immediate interest to me because I've always dreamed of Beyonce displaying all these adjectives.
I just peed....
^^^^^If Bey pulls this off successfully like I KNOW she will,I'll forever be indebted to her!^^^^^
The song 'Pon De Floor' was recorded in 2oo9 for the duo's first album,"Guns Don't Kill People,Lazers Do" and later sampled by Swizz Beatz on his production for DiddyDirtyMoney's track 'Ass on The Floor'.I first seen Chris Brown dancing to the song at one of his performances and I was smitten. It was my #1 cardio jam (I almost twisted my ankle dancing to it).Now it's Bey's turn to snatch the cationic beat and levitate her vocals over the jarring nuisance of the club banger.Click here to see the music video for Pon De Floor. The vigorous South African vibe and uber raunchy dances will be a delight to watch Bey emulate in her music video. We shall see...
