Limitless Movie Review

It is said that in theory,we as human beings only have 2o percent of our brain's receptors in control. But what if you can take a pill, that in 3o seconds can heighten that mere 2o percent to a full 1oo? You'll have FULL capability of your brain.Memories, thoughts and your perception is multiplied times a thousand. The outcome would be limitless. After watching Neil Burger's adaptation of this brilliant script I was immediately impressed. In Limitless,Bradley Cooper(whom I love btw) portrays a modern day loser who is down on his luck. He's pass his deadline for his novel, his girlfriend has broken up with him,he's about to be evicted and the world seems not to be in favor with his dwindling life.
That all took a drastic change on the eve of his eviction  when he runs into his ex brother-in-law and he gives him this little clear pill and pursaudes him to take it.After his first dosage,Cooper's life catapults into a juggernaut of impressionalistic thoughts and impeccable mental combustion and immense possibilities. He is on top of the world. The pill he took (EnZ) gives him abilities and traits he never was familiar with.Everything is looking up for him until he runs into some suspicious counterparts that want what's making him tick so affluently or the accolades he's gaining from thee cause of the miraculous drug.
Although the cast wasn't very broad ,it was still compelling nevertheless.Robert DeNiro's parts were not very long but diligent as always.Newcomer, Abbie Cornish (from next weeks fantasy action flick Sucker Punch) was exceptional in her role as Bradley's concerned girlfriend. However, the movie was brilliantly executed and Bradley Cooper delivered a very compelling and rigorous performance.
This movie was a seemingly different route for Cooper,I'm complacent  to seeing him in romantic comedies and pseudo dramas. This movie was most definitely an expected treat.
Limitless was that clever sci-fi thriller that has added to the mode of  this years movie genre in likes of The Adjustment Bureau and next month's Source Code featuring another it boy,Jake Gyllenhal. I'm so in love with this era.
Overall,I give Limitless a B-.
