F.A.M.E
I know that I'm a week late on giving my explanatory on Chris Brown's newest album. However, the wait was worth it.I found F.A.M.E (Forgiving All My Enemies or Fans Are My Everything) very multi-faceted,clever and refreshingly entertaining.Trying to re-emerge from the failure of his last album Grafitti ,Chris was going hard with his new project.Releasing two acclaimed mixtapes that obtained 2 top 1o hits , a multitude of features and appearances crafted Brown back into the limelight, all previous incidents forgotten.
Opening the album were familiar favs such Dueces and Look At Me Now which are all on the relevant charts simultaneously following one another in order of release. The sappy Up To You will be sure to appease to Brown's plethora of impressionable female following grown and young alike,it compliments with overtly sexually driven tracks like No BS & Wet The Bed in which he boasts "I don't want to be a minute man....imma kiss it right (yea ,yea)...imma lick all night (yea, yea)." It rivals his counterparts in likes of Trey Songz and other pseudo r&B crooners who try and fail the explicit favorable content via songs. The song is most definitely a sexy confection of moans and alluring vocals. The Justin Beiber feature Next To You is the only track I dont agree upon. Its a poor grasp for crossover appeal that Chris already is attainable to.The song is'nt cohesive with the direction of the album. It should have been a track on Beiber's record...shrugs shoulders::

Dope beats dominate and execute on the tracks Say It With Me & Oh My Love ,combined with speedy vocals and repetitive beats it screams blue strobe lights and magical nights. It gives me that vintage Timbaland induced feel that he use to implement on Ginuwine & Aaliyah's productions.Chris surprised me with the change in course of sound with the country tinged All Back .The soothing melodic track was written by the talented Timothy Bloom, the interesting new artist who has the immense romantic hit, Until the End Of Time.Chris sings over smothered acoustics and lazy harmony,"If there is a green light and it starts to turn yellow ,pedal to the floor cause I know your heart is turning red.".I fucking love it.It's like his version of 'California King Bed'.The dreamy tracks located are most definitely the Michael Jackson sampled She Aint You and I Should've Kissed You in where Chris regrets on revealing his love for an old attraction by lending notations , "Next time I wont stop I'll listen to my heart.Cause what I feel is real..".This synopsis I can totally relate to.Faith will bring a re-occurrence though....sigh...Moving along.Beautiful People and Yeah 3X's feed into the popularized techno music genre.Chris wails via auto-tune about positive situations and sheer happiness. It's appreciated.
The other 5 tracks that are only available in the Deluxe packaging of the album shouldve been in unison with the album originally. They are sufficient at best. The Wiz Khalifa Bomb,Love Them Girls ft.The Game & Champion ft UK rapper Chipmunk are elements of hip-hop integrated with raggae, electronica and dance.A formula that Brown accustoms to so effortlessly.I Love.
The Timbaland & Big Sean assisted Papers,Scissors,Rocks is a dope combo of scratchy production infused with the Dream-esque piano drops in the undertones and that loveable Timbo craftsmanship. The song compliments quality fellowship amongst superior artists. The softer conclusion of these bonus tracks is the sexual offering of Beg For It ,a song where Brown is confident in his bedroom endeavors and boasts that it's worthy for his companion to beg for it."Girl, you gon' get it good.Imma make 2o more seconds feel like 2o more minutes..".Sexy!!
All in all,F.A.M.E was just what I thought it would have been..an fun, updated, more subdued, stripped, sprayed and vibrant version of Graffiti. He tapped into every possible relative genre on this album and it worked. Not many artists can take on this feat and succeed. The last to successfully do this was Beyonce with I Am..Sasha Fierce and Usher with Versus album.F.A.M.E display ominous growth and progression from all the negative press that stalked Chris's career. He revived himself with good music. At the end of the day, that's all people gravitate to. Overall,I give F.A.M.E a B- .
