British cinema is becoming a ultimate favorite of mines.Noel Clark (Kidulthood,Adulthoood) starred and directed this quirky but serious crime/thriller/comedy,4321. The storyline was completely compelling, poignant & relative to alot of trendy genres and eclectic in its delivery. It blended the sassiness and extroverted estrogen-driven personalities of Sex & The City, poignant storyline of Crash, and the pubescent-ness of Clueless. The film is an abundance of guilty pleasure.Performances from Emma Roberts (Julia Roberts niece) ,Shameka Warren-Markland (my absolute favorite!) and the long haired beauty queen Tamsin Egerton all portrayed charismatic, authentic characters. The entire ensemble delivered superb depictions in their characters. Even the brief, but strong cameo from Eve was a bit of a surprise ,but a highly appeased one. (B+)
